The Wörthersee region offers a wide range of cultural activities, traditional festivals and culinary delights.Whether in winning restaurant directly on the lake, in the tavern or inn, here, every guest is right for his tastes.

Numerous clubs, bars and events invite not only the “night owls” to an exuberant celebration. A particular highlight is the Casino Velden, which enjoys a privileged location and unique architecture of the bay of Velden.

Your apartment is the starting point for many activities (Barbecue, fire pit, table tennis, playing field and many more). We provide you a rowing boat for romantic tours. On request you can also rent our electric boat for a day or for several hours. In good wind conditions, we also offer surfing equipment to explore the lake.

The Wörthersee is known as a water skiing paradise. Especially in the morning and the evening hours, ideal conditions invite you for a perfect skiing round.

Around the lake there are numerous water skiing schools. Charly’s school is located directly in front of the church of Maria Wörth. Charly gets a call and will pick you up from our dock. Whether wakeboarding, parasailing, tube riding or “only” water-skiing, Charly will introduce you in the art of water skiing.

Of course, we have also created a paradise for our little guests.

No matter wether they are in the water on the raft, in the meadow or grilling sausages at the own fireplace – here your children feel like the “Pirates of Lake Wörthersee”.

An ideal destination for our kids is the Minimundus, a miniature representation of the major monuments of the world. Here children learn about different styles, cultures and other countries.

The Wörthersee region is a hiker’s paradise. Whether leisurely walks or climbing tours in the near Karawanken, everyone will find the right tour.

A tour on the Pyramidenkogel starts right from our front door. This little mountain with a height of 850m, offers you a unique panorama over the lake and its surroundings.

Hint: The Wörthersee-Loop Trail has a total length of about 55 km and the terrain is hilly with some steep ascents and descents (altitudes 440-850 m, about + / – 2200 meters). The route runs mostly in densely wooded areas, which offer magnificent views over the lake and to the Karawanken. In between, snack stations and bush taverns invite you to be explored.

With the Kärnten Card in your backpack you conquer partly free the mountains and all destinations in the three lakes region.

During a leisurely boat cruise with a steamship, you can breathe fresh air and enjoy the impressions of the unique landscape. In this way, you see very much of the picturesque surroundings, occasional stops in the most beautiful villages around the lake included.

The Wörthersee is not only known as a water sports paradise, but also as a golf mekka.

More than 10 golf courses, some even right on the lake, are available for Friends of the green sport.Velden, Dellach und Seltenheim are even members of the “Leading golf courses of Austria“.
